JOINING US
#1:
How to join us?
Feel free to sign up on this forum and start a new topic along with your join request. Please add some information about yourself, previous clans, clanbase id(?) etc.
You can also contact one of the clan leaders on IRC #cod.ut (Quakenet), email, server,... and introduce yourself in short.

CoD is an Unreal Tournament 99 clan only.
Being a member is not connected with any obligations e.g. participation in training or cup matches etc. We are a bunch of friends and looking for cool people to join our clan and community.

GENERAL RULES
#3:
You have to be 16 years or older to become a member of CoD.
We have reached a certain level of maturity and want to keep our clan clean from children and immature shit chat. Members who are under 16 years of age at the current date may stay in clan.
#4:
Do not bring negativity upon your clan in any way.
Disrespecting or offending your clan mates and/or other people on the servers, irc, forums etc. will not be tolerated.
#5:
Clan intern stuff is supposed to stay clan intern.
You are not allowed to tell information such as passwords, tactics or anything else concerning the inner circle of CoD to a third person.

CLANBASE
#6:
CoD @ Clanbase
We are a clanbase clan and frequently active in cups hosted by clanbase. In case you want to participate you need an account at clanbase and hand your clanbase ID which you will recieve once your reqistration is complete to one of the clan leaders. You can find CoD's clanbase page here.
Participation in clanbase tournaments is -as said above - not a 'must' but since we spend alot of our clan actions with cup and training matches, recommended.

If you want to take part in clanbase matches make sure you inform yourself about the cb guidlines (cup rules, general rules etc) to prevent a sanction against your clan.

THE CLAN TAG STORY
#8:
You are supposed to wear your clan tag whenever possible.
This applies for cup matches, practise matches and pick ups aswell as for playing on any public server. Identification with your clan is mandatory and there is no valid reason not to wear your clan tag (exceptions may proove this rule)
Playing with the CoD tag shows us that you belong to our clan and support us in 100%. In addition it is great advertisement and shows our clan is active and present on the servers out there.
Your player nick should look like this: CoD|YourNickHere

OTHER CLANS
#9:
You may join no other clan while being a member of CoD.
If you join us we expect you to be loyal to your team and don't play in multiple clans. Furthermore this rule got established in order to prevent players having two matches at the same time for two different clans. We want to keep our members together and keep them in our clan.
If you want to join another clan while being a member of CoD you have to ask your clan leaders for permission first. Not doing so leads to an immediate removal from the clan.
If you are already a member of another clan while joining CoD you have to inform the clan leaders about the other clan(s) you are playing for. Being invited to CoD means the clan leaders have already accepted the other clans you are in.

Teamspeak.
Voice communication is very important during cup or training games. If you are not able to communicate with your team mates because you don't have an actual version of teamspeak or a microphone you cannot take part in any of the official matches.

IRC is very useful for cup or training matches and ensures an easier way of communication than any instant messenger or email.

We are an active clan - be a part of it!
If you are going to be inactive please leave a message to the clan leaders about your absence. We would like to know where you are and if we can count on you for upcoming actions.
Disrespecting any of these rules can result in you being removed from the clan.
